The Optics MS program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to contribute to state-of-the-art optics research and development.
A number of options are available within the general degree requirements to satisfy the needs of a variety of students:
Coursework MS – Standard Option (2 Semesters)
Coursework MS with Summer Residency (3 Semesters)
Thesis MS (3-4 Semesters)
MS Co-Op Program (4 semesters)
Academic Requirements:
Degree: A bachelor's degree in optics, physics, engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Grade Point Average (GPA): Minimum undergraduate GPA is 3.0 out of 4.0.
Test Scores:
TOEFL: A minimum TOEFL score of 105 (Internet test) is required for admittance.
IELTS: A minimum IELTS score of 7.0 is required for admittance.
GRE: GRE is strongly encouraged for MS applicants.
