The Heller Master of Science in Global Health Policy and Management degree is an accelerated, nine-month program focused on health systems strengthening and global health policy, housed at a top-ranked school for social policy.
During this turbulent and complex time, the health implications of a world facing natural disasters, war, famine and lack of health care loom large — particularly for the world’s poorest and most vulnerable populations. But as old threats evolve and new ones emerge, so, too, do the theories and practical strategies we use to combat them.
The MS GHPM program provides aspiring global health professionals from around the world with the comprehensive expertise and cutting-edge techniques they need to provide essential health care services that communities depend on most.
GRE is not required for admission, Because so many of our successful students come from developing nations, we do not use standardized test scores as an assessment tool for applicants to the program. If you have taken the GRE, you may submit your test scores as a supplemental application credential if you wish. Test scores will be sent directly by ETS, Educational Testing Service. The GRE code is 3097.
We do not set a minimum required score for either test, but rather, our admissions committees take a holistic approach to reviewing applications and considers every part of the application carefully. That being said, the majority of our successful applicants tend to have a score of at least 94 on the TOEFL, or 7.0 on the IELTS.
